Curious Masterminds: The Future Leader - 9 Skills and Mindsets to Succeed in the Next Decade

For the Continual Learner, it isn't enough to just read a book. Group discussions allow shared exploration of new ideas and potential application in the real world.

CURIOUS MASTERMINDS is a book club for people who want to read together and think together.

The Zip Syndicate hosts open discussion forums to help make more of your reading investment.

In his book The Future Leader, Jacob Morgan discussed trends and challenges shaping future leaders and itemizes what he calls the “Notable Nine”. The “Notable Nine” are 4 mindsets + 5 skills “essential for the future leader to posses”.

This book inspired our founding partners; Dorothy and Laura, in very different ways.

Dorothy immediately enrolled in Jacob Morgan’s masterclass to dive deep into the ideas and premises of the book.

Laura was inspired because much of the evidence given in the book affirms the core values and principles of The Zip Syndicate and shows how much we need to create more spaces for people to find new balance between the human side of learning and technology.

Join us to discuss the thoughts and ideas this book sparks for you.

Come ready to explore “The Notable Nine”

  • Mindsets - Global Citizens, Servant, Chef, Explorer

  • Skills - Coach, Futurist, Technology Teenager, Translator, Yoda

How does a Curious Masterminds session work?
